ASI 8155 Specimen Pass Thru Cabinet Extensive Sleeve and Flange, 5-1/2" - 9-7/8" Wall Depth
Construction
Extension Sleeve and Flange for Recessed Specimen Pass-Through Cabinet shall be fabricated of 22 gauge type 304 stainless steel alloy 18-8. Adjustable and fixed trim shall be 1" wide formed from one piece with no miters, welding or open seams on face and have a 1/4" square return to wall. Adjustable flange shall provide an installation range of 5-1/2" to 9-7/8". Structural assembly of all components shall be of welded construction. Sleeve shall slide over cabinet of Model # 8154 in place of standard adjustable flange and shall not prevent rear door from opening. All exposed surfaces shall be #4 satin finish and shall be protected during shipment with a PVC film easily removable after installation.

Installation
Unit can be mounted through walls in the thickness range of 5-1/2" to 9-7/8". Fixed flange and cabinet of model # 8154 is secured first through four (4) dimpled mounting holes that accommodate #10 self tapping Philips flat head (or oval head) screws (supplied). Adjustable extension sleeve and flange is then located to cabinet inside wall thickness and secured to opposite side of wall in same manner.

For compliance with ADA Accessibility Guidelines, install unit with centerline of door pulls at 48" maximum above finished floor (MAX AFF). For general utility install unit with centerline of doors at 54" AFF.

Partition Cutout (PCO): 11-1/2" W x 11" H x 5-1/2" D min to 9-7/8" D

Operation
Sleeve extends cabinet profile through wall to provide clear access to door. Door inside extension sleeve will only open 90° and will be returned by internal extension spring when released by user. Interlocked compartment doors will still preserve user privacy by preventing opening of opposite door until first door is fully closed in the same manner as the standard unit.
