Construction
Grab Bar is type-304 stainless steel tubing. Tubing is 1-1/4" outside diameter with #4 satin finish. Snap flange mounting plate is type 304 stainless steel welded to bar. Snap flange cover plate escutcheons are decorative only. Optional non-slip textured surface denoted on part number ending with T (textured).
Gamco grab bars have standard clearance 1-1/2" (38mm) clearance from finished wall to inner edge of tubing.
*Grab bars are no stronger than the anchors and walls to which they are attached and must be firmly secured in order to support the loads for which they are intended.
Installation
Provide concealed anchor device or backing as specified or required in accordance with local building codes before wall is finished. Fasten mounting
flanges to anchor device or backing with at least two screws opposing each other in each flange. Snap flange covers over each mounting flange to conceal mounting
screws. Concealed anchor devices and mounting screws are not included.
For compliance with ADA Accessibility Guidelines install
unit so that the top of the grab bar is 33" minimum above finished floor (AFF) to 36" maximum
AFF.
Warranty
One (1) Year Manufacturer's Warranty - Warranted to be free of defects in material or workmanship under normal usage service for one (1) year from date of sale. Gamco warrants to commercial purchasers only.
